Basic Bread Loaf

This is your basic loaf of gluten-free bread - I really enjoy it and hope you do too. Makes 8 slices.

Ingredients
    Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup 1-1 Baking Flour
  • 2 tbsp Flax Seed (Grind into meal or use flaxseed meal)
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Instant Yeast
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup Almond Milk
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
  1. Coat bread pan with nonstick spray or oil
  2. Combine dry ingredients, set aside
  3. Combine wet ingredients and put in microwave for 60-90 seconds until mixture reaches 120-130f
  4. Combine wet & dry ingredients and mix well - it should be a consistency between dough and batter
  5. Pour into bread pan, then shake to evenly distribute the mixture. Set in a warm place and allow to rise for 30 minutes while the oven preheats to 390°
  6. Bake for 90 minutes
  7. Immediately turn loaf out onto a cooling rack and leave to cool completely before cutting
  8. To make 8 slices that are roughly full size (4" x 4" ish), cut the loaf in half lengthwise and then cut each at your preferred thickness
