Basic Bread Loaf

Yields: 8 Servings Difficulty: Medium Prep Time: 40 Mins Cook Time: 1 Hr 30 Mins Total Time: 2 Hr 10 Mins

This is your basic loaf of gluten-free bread – I really enjoy it and hope you do too. Makes 8 slices.

  • Coat bread pan with nonstick spray or oil
  • Combine dry ingredients, set aside
  • Combine wet ingredients and put in microwave for 60-90 seconds until mixture reaches 120-130f
  • Combine wet & dry ingredients and mix well - it should be a consistency between dough and batter
  • Pour into bread pan, then shake to evenly distribute the mixture. Set in a warm place and allow to rise for 30 minutes while the oven preheats to 390°
  • Bake for 90 minutes
  • Immediately turn loaf out onto a cooling rack and leave to cool completely before cutting
  • To make 8 slices that are roughly full size (4" x 4" ish), cut the loaf in half lengthwise and then cut each at your preferred thickness
