  • Preheat oven to 375°
  • Grind flax seed in a coffee grinder, then mix in a large bowl with All Purpose Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, and Granulated Sugar
  • Add vanilla and cut vegan butter into the dry flour mixture until only pea sized chunks remain at the largest
  • Lay down parchment paper and place dough on top, then lay a second piece of parchment paper on top
  • Use a rolling pin to flatten the dough to about 1/4th an inch thick
  • Cut into shapes and place on parchment lined cookie sheet
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes - they should still be very soft - and then allow them 10-20 minutes to cool before handling or serving them
