Vegan Gluten-Free BBQ Sauce

I’ve made BBQ sauce before but I lost my recipe, so I consulted with ChatGPT 4.0 to create a new one. It took a few rounds of back and forth to cater it to my specific set of ingredients but it is probably one of the best BBQ sauces I’ve ever tasted – but next time I’m adding more heat.

  • Boil water, then pour over the dried Chipotle Pepper and cover. Allow to soak for 1 hour.
  • Add two tablespoons of water from the soaked chipotle to the pan, then chop the Chipotle finely and add all pieces into the pan.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients to the pan and bring to a simmer over medium heat
  • Stir occasionally, simmering it about 20 minutes or until it reaches desired thickness. Add cayenne pepper and salt to taste.
  • Allow to cool fully before storing, then use within 2 weeks.
